About the Role
Mad & Crip Theology Press is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented volunteer to assist with the production of our Mad and Crip Theology Podcast. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our team to help amplify the voices of contributors from our journal and community! The Press is a passion project, run from Editor Amy's kitchen table. Everything we do is volunteer run.
Position Overview:
As a Podcast Production Volunteer, you will:
-Edit subtitles for YouTube uploads to ensure accessibility for all viewers.
-Post and format transcripts for each episode on our Buzzsprout platform to meet accessibility standards.
-Collaborate on episode outlines and show notes to ensure clarity and alignment with our themes.
-Help with scheduling interviews and communicating with guests.
-Assist in maintaining the podcast's organizational files and processes.
-Note: You won’t need to upload the episodes manually to multiple platforms—Buzzsprout handles that for us.
Time Commitment:
2-3 hours per month for one episode, with the flexibility for up to 6 hours per month during periods when two episodes are recorded.
How to Apply:
If you’re interested in this role, please send an email to Editor Amy at amy@madandcriptheologypress.ca with a brief introduction, your experience (if any), and why you’d like to be involved in this project.
Requirements
