Our Mission, Vision, and Values

Mission
Our mission is to amplify the stories of people impacted by mental distress and/or disability.
Vision
The Mad and Crip Theology Press strives to publish the stories that haven't been told but need to be heard.

Values
1. The Journey
We believe that theology and spirituality are meaning-making journeys that all humans embark upon. We value your story.
2. The Voice
We value the voices of people with lived experience of mental distress and/or disabilities, and others who are impacted by disability and mental illness. We strive to amplify the voices of people who are not usually considered to be the "experts." We value your story.
3. The Community
We value collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and the opportunity to publish intimate, vulnerable, and powerful stories. Your story can change the conversation. We value your story.
